BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT The Board of Adjustment has oversight over the Planning & Zoning Commission. The Board makes the final recommendation to the Town Council on any matters the Planning & Zoning Commission deliberate. The Board of Adjustment typically meets the 4th Monday of the month, provided business must be conducted.
AIRPORT ADVISORY COMMITTEE The Airport Advisory Committee is an advisory group to the Town Manager and Town Council on matters concerning the Kearny Airport. Advisory Board Members are extremely familiar with airports and the aviation industry. All are pilots, and some are professional aviators. The Airport Advisory Committee meets the first Monday of the Month.
LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD The Library Advisory Board assists the Arthur E. Pomeroy Library, and helps set the direction of the Library's services and programs.
PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION The Planning & Zoning Commission is an advisory committee, which reports directly to the Town Manager and the Town Council. Planning & Zoning deals primarily with local requests for variances, conditional use permits, and other planning issue. The Planning & Zoning Commission typically meets the 3rd Monday of the month, provided business must be conducted.
